Ben made a reservation at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco. While booking, in the “Is there anything else we can do to make your stay a more comfortable one?” section, Ben decided to take a chance and ask for something a bit out of the norm…. A PILLOW FORT.

That’s right. An awesome, old school pillow fort that we all made when we were younger.

Now there are a few things I learned from this post:

  1. Pillow forts are still awesome and can and should continue to be enjoyed at any age

  2. It never hurts to ask and

  3. Even the simplest gestures can make a SPLASH!

A simple request by Ben Steiner and the playful cooperation of the Hyatt Regency was a perfect example of RIPPLE EFFECT marketing and the true power of Influencer Marketing. Let me explain ...

All because a Brand added a little something extra to a guests stay and that guest shared with his social followers.
